Samwise Gamgee

This is Danny in the Samwise costume. I made the shirt out of linen, which he complains about being very itchy... I also made the fellowship cloak and the leaf pin (I made the pin the same way that I made the Galadriel pin). I didn't make the vest or pants though, although we did crop the pants a little for hobbit length.

...okay you might be wondering why he's holding carrots...well, remember the scene from TTT where Gollum brings rabbits and drops them on Frodo and Sam says "There's only one way to eat a brace of conies!"? well, this is a still shot from that scene from our fanfilm, except we used carrots instead of rabbits...yeah, it makes no sense but it was SO funny when we were filming it!! that also explains why the pic's a little blurry, it's a still shot from my video camera.
