Description
I've been meaning to do a photoshoot of myself with the classic "Thin White Duke" pose, but I just got around to doing it recently For those who don't know, the Thin White Duke (TWD) is one of David Bowie's 'characters', from 1976, from the Station to Station album (amazing! ) This particular pose was inspired by Rudolf Nureyev, a ballet dancer, who often used this pose in his dancing. I didn't make any of the clothing that I'm wearing (and I wish I hadn't been wearing nail polish! but I wanted to get the photoshoot done while I had the French braid in my hair) I made the photo black and white to coordinate with Bowie's cold, black and white atmosphere of the 1976 Station to Station tour.
